This is the first post on The Castillo Family Blog. It is intended for all family members and extended family members that would like to publish updates, pictures and general information in an effort for all of us to stay connected and in touch.
I would like to take full credit, but I can't, the idea was actually Tio Hector's; he emailed me and suggested that someone create a website. I've created a blog page before while I was and undergrad so I know how easy it is and figured I could just get it out of the way so everyone can start posting. If you have problems or are unfamiliar with how to do something on the page, let me know and either I or someone else in the family can work with you to make sure you can get what you want posted.
Probably within the next week or so I'll be posting pictures of my family as well as pictures from the Monterrey trip that Tio Mando, Tio Jimmy, Tio Johnny and I took. Also, please note that this is the first post and although the site is a little bare right now, I will do what I can as time allows and try to spruce things up so please don't freak out if you log on and something looks different. I'll make sure to post explanations to any changes I've made. If you want to make any changes or additions, feel free, but please make sure to make a note/posting about the changes so everyone knows.
I'm hoping that everyone will have a chance to post something and that this site will become a good source for family information and coordination.
